RS Marine, LLC (“RS Marine”, “we”, “us”) operates this website. This policy explains what information we collect when you browse or buy from us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. You can browse the site without creating an account or providing personal information.
What we collect
- Order and contact information. When you place an order, checkout is hosted by Shopify, our commerce platform. Shopify collects your name, email address, shipping and billing address, and phone number so we can process and deliver your order.
- Payment information.Payments are processed by PayPal (including Venmo, a payment method within PayPal) at Shopify’s hosted checkout. This website never sees or stores your card or payment credentials.
- Reviews. If you leave a product review, it is collected and displayed through Judge.me, our reviews provider, along with the name you choose to display.
- Usage data. Like most sites, we collect analytics data (pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location) through Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies.
- Correspondence. If you email or call us, we keep the correspondence so we can help you.
How we use it
- To process transactions and ship your order.
- To respond to questions, warranty claims, and returns.
- To send order confirmations and shipping updates.
- To send occasional marketing email if you opt in — every message includes an unsubscribe link.
- To measure and improve the site and our advertising.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers who make the store work, and only what they need to do their job:
- Shopify — commerce platform and hosted checkout (orders, customer records).

Order records are retained as long as needed for warranty service, tax, and accounting requirements. Data in transit to Shopify’s checkout is encrypted (TLS), and payment credentials are held by PayPal and Shopify — never on our servers.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
The site may link to third-party sites (for example, our marketplace listings). Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
